WORKING WITH THE SEND

It’s been a while since I finished my DTS after an amazing outreach in Kenya….

Now I’m already on the next adventure :)

For about three weeks I’m part of The Send Norway Media team. The Send Norway is a stadium gathering happening in less than 2 months in Oslo, Norway.

So there is lots to do!!

I’m basically the assistant manager of our media leader Mik. Helping him whenever and for whatever he needs me & having an overview of what’s happening and what needs to be done. Furthermore, I’m in charge of everything happening on Social Media - posting stories and posts on Instagram & Facebook, writing captions, replying to people with questions, and simply sharing what’s happening at the moment.

It’s so fun to be part of such a great team working towards a big event like this! I really get to take responsibility and do things I’ve never done before. Not being professional in something but still managing that. Through that, I’m able to learn so many different things and be part of a small team making a big event happen. I can really use my giftings in having an overview, organizing, managing stuff, and being creative :)

Joining The Send has definitely been the right decision. It’s a one-time experience that will help me for the rest of my life!!

The last weeks have been busy as well tho: working full time from 8 am to 4 pm, meetings, going to Telenor Arena (where The Send takes place) to meet up with all our partner organizations to talk about the day of The Send and our six outcomes, setting our Social Media strategies (when to post what in the next two months) moving from our old room to the new barracks and so much more. But it has also been so much fun - being back on base, having such a great community with amazing friends around, seeing God move and his faithfulness, worshipping with the community, enjoying nature and beautiful Norway :)

Right now I’m actually back home in Germany for a wedding and family, working from home.

The following weeks up to the event are going to be busy but so fun!! It’s so exciting how everything comes together and to get more and more people involved in the movement!!

The Send is not just this 12-hour stadium gathering, but the start of a movement happening in Norway and all across Europe.

Revival has been spoken over Norway for so many years and this is the time, for a generation to rise up and live wholeheartedly for Jesus. The key and best thing about The Send is what comes afterward. Everyone is invited to say yes and invest in one of our six outcomes - bible, prayer, neighborhoods, schools & education, children in need, and the nations/ missions. With that people don’t get on fire one day but bring that flame to where their heart burns for. It’s the part where we as Christians need to awake and be more active in to see eternal change.

The Send Norway is on June 25th. Afterward, we will come together as a team and reflect a little and create recaps for Social Media.

Around the 5th of July, I will be finished with that.

Aaaand I also have a plan for what's next :)

During my outreach and my DTS God placed staffing on my heart. To take another year and be part of the next DTS this fall. Serving, supporting them in their process, and being there for the students. Sharing my experiences with them. To grow more in being a leader (especially on outreach) and investing in this generation.
